We are a faith-based 501c3 nonprofit that ministers to the needs of hurting children and teens, through life-changing camps and mentoring club opportunities.
Fostering Hope in Michigan is the umbrella organization that operates local Royal Family Kids (RFK) and Teen Reach Adventure Camp (T.R.A.C) programs. We serve Mid-Michigan kids and teens who are in foster care, or have been in foster care.
The organization is 100 percent volunteer operated, with volunteers donating 30,000 hours each year to confront abuse and change lives. These volunteers also fundraise a $120,000 operational budget each year. Our programs are 100% volunteer driven and fundraised.
-
Operate 4 camps each summer.
-
Operate 2 mentoring clubs during the school year.
-
235+ volunteers run our yearly programming.
-
We serve around 160 kids in foster care each year.

$120,000 for 4 camps and 2 mentoring club
As with many non-profits, 2020 and 2021 have been very difficult for FHIM financially. In the past we have always had extra cash to cover any anexpected expenses. 2020-21 we used that buffer. We are praying that God , through you our will provide for our needs financially. Thank you for caring for the kids from hard places,
