Who We ARE
We are a faith-based nonprofit that ministers to the needs of hurting children and teens, through life-changing camps and mentoring clubs.
Fostering Hope in Michigan is the umbrella organization that hosts local chapters of For the Children (FTC) Royal Family KIDS (RFK)Camps and Teen Reach Adventure Camp (T.R.A.C.). We also host RFK Group Mentoring Club (kids 7-12) and FHIM Mentoring (teens 13-17) throughout the school year, September to May.
We serve Mid-Michigan kids and teens who have suffered from abuse or neglect. The organization is 100 percent volunteer operated, with volunteers donating 30,000 hours each year to confront abuse and change lives. These volunteers also fundraise a $140,000 operational budget each year.
